Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 August 2026

1. Acceptance

By using pdfwork.app or purchasing a Pro Online plan (or, optionally, a desktop licence), you accept these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

PDFWORK offers instant web tools (in-browser processing) and Pro Online as the main paid service: access to Pro features on the web (annual or lifetime plans as shown at checkout).

Optionally, a desktop app for Windows/Linux may be available. It is not required to use Pro Online. Features may evolve; the commercial description on the Pro access page prevails in case of reasonable doubt about a specific version’s scope.

3. Pro Online access and optional desktop licence

Unless stated otherwise at purchase, Pro Online access is granted according to the plan purchased (e.g. annual or lifetime) for personal or professional use by the buyer. Redistribution, resale or mass sharing of access is prohibited.

A lifetime plan grants perpetual access to Pro Online and to updates of the current product line as of purchase and its ordinary evolution of that line, as described on the commercial page and in these Terms. It does not automatically include distinct future products or major redesigns sold separately.

If you purchase an optional desktop licence, it is perpetual for the major version purchased and intended for a reasonable number of devices of the same licence holder. Exact device scope may be specified on the purchase page or in the delivery email.

4. Access, Pro tools and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe or another secure provider. You warrant that payment details are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.

Any temporary Pro web trial access is personal, non-transferable and may be revoked.

5. Withdrawal and refunds (EU)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase, subject to legal exceptions (e.g. digital content supplied with prior express consent and acknowledgement of loss of the withdrawal right).

To request a refund within the applicable period, contact [Email] with proof of purchase. We will assess each case under applicable consumer law.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the service for unlawful activity, infringe third-party rights, circumvent technical protections, or deliberately overload infrastructure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PDFWORK is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from use of the software or site, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The update date appears at the top. Continued use after publication means acceptance of changes, unless specific consent is required by law.
